An informal shooting target logger.
Plink Log Pro is an informal target logger, suitable for all disciplines of target sports; primarily firearms based (rifle & pistol shooting), users are also using it for airgun & archery. Strings of shots can be placed on each target and saved for later viewing. Targets can be panned & zoomed with standard gestures. Users can add their own targets.Strings can be compared on target, statistics can be generated & compared such as MOA calculation & scoring. Plink Log Pro has been released in various staged releases, incorporating major new functionality with each release. Subsequent planned releases are still in preparation, as are incremental releases for any bug fix or user suggestion/request.How you use this app will depend on what type of shooting you do, however here are a few suggestions -* Compare strings shot with different ammunition batches, to see the differences in grouping & accuracy.* Calculate your MOA group size, saved strings can be later compared to determine the effect of various factors.* Calculate group centres, and get automatic elevation & windage corrections.* Compare shots within a string if shooting long range & the spotting disk is moved.* Target markers can record very precise shot placement which may not be seen from the firing point.* Strings can be shared between markers, shooters, judges etc.* Take away a permanent record of your days shooting activity.** Developer Request **If you experience any problems, please can you contact me directly BEFORE leaving low ratings. Testing has been performed on all API levels, I am happy to resolve any specific issues with individual handsets.V3.6 - sorry if you updated to v3.5 & it crahsed, v3.6 fixes that.The v3.5 new features are -- shot colour of text made to contrast shot (thanks Joseph)- attempt to load large target images at lower resolutionMinor bug fixes.

This is a great training application for shooters and spotters to communicate at the range. Awesome developer who is passionate about making this even better! He quickly added shot color adjustments with in a week of my request! This accommodated my custom orange diamond targets, as the red shot mark was hard to see. This also provides additional functionality to change color mid string for different bullet loads/weights, shooters, range, passage of time, or even caliber's on the same target! Also added move and Delete shot at my request!! Over the top AWESOME!!! Thank you!!
Developer responds to requests quick. I use this app for all my range sessions. I use shoot-n-c targets so I can record the hit on Plink Log then use the shoot-n-c repair dots to cover the holes and use the target again. I have four of these targets that have been used at two range sessions with two rifles each time and are good to go again. The cardboard their on will wear out before the targets. Savings on shoot-n-c has already paid for the app. THANKS Dave! Looking forward to future updates..
Had an issue with the calculating function. Sent a log, contacted developer, fixed quickly. Works stinking awesome!
I like it exactly what I was looking for. found a bug contacted developer got an answer with in a day said he would fix the bug two days the bug was gone what can I say but great tek support
Like this quite a lot. Clean and easy to use, but one suggestion, could we toggle to inward gauging for scoring too.
The app worked for 5 minutes, now it Force Closes with an error everytime i open it. Don't waste your money.
This app works great . Wanted to put a new target on and the emailed the developer for help and done. Great software and great support
